Our purpose
AccessSA helps South Africans understand and find public services, employment opportunities, education information and financial-support resources. We are an independent information platform and are not a government department, SASSA, an employer or an educational institution.
How information is prepared
Our guides are written and reviewed by the AccessSA Editorial Team. We prefer official government departments, public institutions, employers and programme owners as sources. When a page discusses an application or service, we link readers to the responsible organisation to complete the process or confirm current requirements.
Jobs and third-party listings
Some vacancies are supplied through recruitment services such as Adzuna or submitted by recruiters. Imported and submitted jobs are reviewed before publication. A listing on AccessSA is not an endorsement or guarantee of employment. Users must verify the employer, closing date, requirements and application method on the original source.
Updates
Rules, deadlines, payment dates and eligibility requirements can change. We date permanent guides and update them when reliable new information becomes available. Time-sensitive listings may be removed after they expire.
Accuracy and corrections
We aim to provide clear and accurate information, but errors may occur. Readers can report a possible error through our contact page. We review correction requests against reliable sources and update the affected page when appropriate.
Independence
Advertising does not determine the conclusions or instructions in our editorial content. Sponsored or externally supplied material must be identified where applicable.
